The Opening Ceremonies includes a group of local youth horse riders participating in a drill team. This year, as many others, they performed to a Toby Keith song. On Friday, a team of uniformed officers present the flag to the crowd. It is very moving. The kids always do a fantastic job and I am always impressed by the practice they have put in to the number.
